I have a permanent love affair with food. After all, food has indescribable power; it can be used in an infinite number of ways to express and communicate. While food can be associated with its ability to transport people into worlds of happiness and comfort, food can also represent a challenge: a desire to push oneself, to explore and understand different cultures and backgrounds, and to expose oneself to unfamiliarity. I am grateful for its presence in my life every day like I am grateful for the people in my life, and derive some of my greatest simple joys from food. Below is an album of some of my favorite food photos I've taken over the years.
